Scoring

Warhammer & Warhammer 40k
Players can score up to a total of 260 points overall which is broken down into the following categories:

Awards
Awards will given for the following accomplishments:
- Overall Champion: Highest combined point total of all categories.
- Best General: Highest combined Battle and Sportmanship scores.
- Best Appearance: Highest Painting score.
- Best Sportsman: Highest Sportsmanship score.
- Players Choice: Based on participant vote.
Battle (possible 20-100 points)
In each game, players may score from 4-20 Battle Points

Players must achieve victory by at least 100 Victory Points as determined in the main rulebook to qualify for a Win. In addition to a Win/Draw/Loss, one player may receive the bonus points from the Scenario Objective defined in each scenario played.
Painting (possible 0-80 points)
Appearance score will be determined by an average of 3 judges’ scores for each army. Judges will be looking for technical painting skills, basing, conversion, theme, and overall appearance.
Sportsmanship (possible 0-80 points)
Base Points — All players will start with 64 points of sportsmanship. Points may be deducted or added depending on each opponent’s assessment of the player’s sportsmanship.
Deductions — After each game, players will be asked a question about their game on their scoresheets. The opponent may answer with something to the effect of the following:
- I would be pleased to play this opponent again. (0 pts)
- Some things about opponent’s behavior would make me hesitant to play him again. (-1 pt)
- Some things about opponent’s behavior made this a bad game and I would not look forward playing him again. (-X pts, see below)

Bonuses
After the final game, players will vote for their Best and 2nd Best Sportsmen from the opponents they played. For each vote of 2nd Best Sportsmen a player receives, 1 bonus point will be added his sportsmanship score. Bonus points for Best Sportsmen votes will be awarded as follows:

Composition
There is no composition score at Wasteland Wars. All army lists will reviewed by the Wasteland Wars Staff, and lists deemed unsporting to the point of ruining someone’s tournament will be returned. All lists will be ranked by the Wasteland Wars staff and Day One’s matchups will be determined by a modified Swiss format taking into account Battle Points and the list’s strength.
